December's free America's Art Form concert, "A Night At Birdland," will be presented by the Hot Springs Jazz Society and the Garland County Library from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the library's auditorium.

The evening will feature guest artist Matt Schatz on saxophone with Clyde Pound on keyboard, Patrick Chan on drums and David Higginbotham on bass. Pieces performed will be the style of music at the iconic nightclub "Birdland" of New York City's 1950s night life, a news release said.

America's Art Form is a free monthly concert series presented October through February with a special guest artist featured each month focusing on a different style or detail of American born music. Remaining America's Art Form concerts, scheduled the second Wednesday of each month through February, will be "I'm With The Band" in January, and "Ear Trip and Found Sound" in February.
