Choirs, ensemble combine
for Garvan Christmas concert
The Ringers of Hope Bell Choir, the Ouachita Hills String Ensemble, and the Ouachita Hills Choir from Ouachita Hills Academy and College in Amity will combine to present a Christmas musical extravaganza in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
In addition to the rich sound of English handbells, string ensemble and vocal choir, there will be a special section just for children with a story and music. The free concert is open to the public.
Regular admission applies to see Holiday Lights at the botanical garden. The cost of admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 years old, and free for children 5 and younger.
