'Hats Galore' honors Living Waters 1st lady
The World Mission Department of Living Waters Church of God in Christ, 306 Grove St., will present its second annual "Hats Galore" honoring first lady Cora L. Withers at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be first lady Kathryn Crossley, of St. Mark Baptist Church. Registration is at 2:30 p.m. Men, women and children can register. Faith Pointe adds new youth pastor
Ronnie Vanderslice, pastor of Faith Pointe Ministries, 440 Broadway, announced the addition of W. Dylan West, who recently joined Faith Pointe as youth pastor of Faith Rising Youth Group. West plans to receive his ordination within the next few weeks.
The Faith Rising Youth program will be introduced at an informational meeting at 5 p.m. March 24. Adults and youth are welcome. The program will officially start the following week at 4:30 p.m. All youth between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome. For more information, call 625-2971.
