Bismarck students' art to be displayed at gallery walk

BISMARCK -- Bismarck Middle School students recently produced art pieces that were entered into the 10th annual Have a HeArt for Art competition.

The goal of the art show is to promote heart health and awareness. Katie Smith-Johnson, BMS art teacher, was allowed to choose two submissions from each grade.

The students' art will be displayed at Emergent Arts in Hot Springs during Gallery Walk on March 2, with the winners selected that night. All of the entries from the participants will be on display from March 2-9.

BMS student artists include Brooklyn Keisler, Melissa Diaz, Madison Henson, Malachi Stephenson, Laney Osborn, Jonathan Diaz, and Michael Crutchfield.
