The Hot Springs Sport Recreation Department is accepting registrations for 2018 girls' fast-pitch softball until March 2 or until leagues reach capacity, a news release said. All games will be played on the turf at Kimery Park.
The league will be ASA sanctioned, and ASA rules will govern play. The season starts in early April and typically ends in early June. Game nights will be determined by volume.
Youths 6 years old and younger (coach pitch/tee-ball) will play Monday and some Thursday nights. Youths 8 and younger (machine pitch) will play Tuesday and some Thursday nights. Youths 10 and younger (machine pitch) will play Tuesday and some Thursday nights. Youths 10 and younger (machine pitch) will play Monday and some Thursday nights. Youths 12 and younger fast-pitch (live arm) will play on Thursday nights.
Registration is $40 per player. Players may sign up individually or as a team. Registration forms are available online at http://www.cityhs.net/sportrecreation.
