Blame the Democrats

Dear editor:

When Democrat Mitch Landrieu was asked on "60 Minutes" a few years ago to describe his predecessor, former Democrat Mayor of New Orleans Ray Nagin, his response was "inept and corrupt." He was, in fact, both of those things. He was sentenced to 10 years in jail for the corrupt part, and they should have added another 10 for the inept part, as you may remember he was the mayor who put 20,000 people in the Superdome with no food or water, violating the most basic rule of hurricanes to have at least three days of the above.

We all know the misery those people had to endure because of this idiot, but how did the Democrats and their allies in the MSM play it? Find a Republican to blame, so it must be Bush's fault. They, of course, knew many simpletons who only listen to Democrat propaganda passed on by the MSM would fall for it and blame it on Bush. Bush didn't put those people there -- a Democrat did.

The people of Detroit many years earlier chose to elect a bunch of Democrat socialist haters. In the years that followed, at least a million former Detroiters fled the city, taking with them their skills, businesses and tax dollars. The only thing we might compare it too are the millions who fled Cuba in the aftermath of the takeover by Castro. At least the folks in Detroit didn't have to swim over a hundred shark-infested miles to get away from these idiots, but they left in their wake a vast wasteland.

It's not complicated, Casey. You don't have to be a Mensa member to figure it out. It was Democrats running Detroit, New Orleans and Flint, they and only they -- despite you and Linda's attempts to spin it -- are to blame.

Yep, I'm sure unlike you, I get my news from many sources. Can't help from hearing the cacophony of the MSM, it's everywhere. Maybe you ought to try and not just be one of their lemmings, because if you limit yourself, you'll just be hearing one side's propaganda. If a tree falls in the forest, it must be Trump's fault.
