Several roadways planned for closures
Seventh Street, between West St. Louis and Meadowbrook streets, will be closed to through traffic from 7:30 a.m. until noon today to initiate street repairs following water main repair.
Weather permitting, the same area will be closed from 8 a.m. until noon Thursday to complete repairs.
The eastbound outside lane of East Grand Avenue, between Vine and Grove streets, will be closed through Friday for sidewalk improvement.
The northbound outside lane of Central Avenue at Crawford Street will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday for new traffic signal installation.
Signs will be posted, and motorists are asked to use caution when traveling in the work areas and to seek an alternate route if possible during the closures.
