Fishing report

Lake Ouachita: Todd Gadberry, Mountain Harbor Resort harbor master, said on Wednesday the black bass at Lake Ouachita are still fair. Spots have slowed but are still fair on a drop shot with a finesse worm.

Stripers are fair to good on Bama rigs. Major creek channels on the central and western part of the lake have been the best for these fish.

Crappie are still fair and being caught on minnows in 20-30 feet of water near structure. No report was given for bream, catfish and walleye.

Water ranges from 46-50 degrees and is clear at 567.87 feet msl (full pool is 578 feet msl).
