Hoop Hogs eye fifth sellout Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE -- Less than 300 tickets remained Wednesday for Arkansas' home tilt against Missouri Saturday after two more games were announced this week as officially sold out.

The Razorbacks (11-4, 1-2 in the Southeastern Conference) opened a two-game homestand Wednesday against LSU (10-4, 1-1) at Bud Walton Arena. Saturday's game against Missouri (11-4, 1-1) is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN2 (Resort Channel 29).

The Hogs have the chance to win their fourth straight game against the Tigers. Only select upper-level tickets remained Wednesday.

Arkansas announced on Monday the home game against preseason SEC favorite Texas A&M (11-5, 0-4) on Jan. 30 is sold out. The Big12/SEC Challenge game against Oklahoma State (11-4, 1-2 in the Big 12) on Jan. 27 is also now officially sold out.

Bud Walton was at capacity on Dec. 30 for the Razorbacks' 95-93 overtime win over Tennessee. Verizon Arena in North Little Rock was also packed on Dec. 16 for an 88-63 win over Troy (7-10, 1-3 in the Sun Belt Conference).

The Hogs were unbeaten in Bud Walton Arena this season at 8-0 and have one of the top-five best home court advantages in the nation, according to KenPom metrics. The Razorbacks have a +181 scoring margin at home, including a 22.6 average margin of victory.

The Razorbacks return home with a top-20 RPI and top-15 strength of schedule, looking to jump back into the win column. Entering the week, the SEC led the country with 11 top-70 RPI teams, including a nation-best nine teams with top-50 strength of schedules.
