All city offices, except public safety and the airport, and Garland County offices and departments will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
No solid waste or CAPS services in the city will take place. Residential and Earth Angel recycling collection will run one day behind schedule, beginning Tuesday. The city's compost facility will be closed. Hot Springs Intracity Transit's office will be closed, but bus and paratransit service will run as scheduled.
The Garland County Landfill will also be closed, but the house-to-house collection service will continue as scheduled, County Judge Rick Davis said.
