Rams bowl to 8-0 at Cabot

Lakeside's boys bowling team rolled over Cabot at Allfam Bowling Center in Cabot Friday, the Rams cruising to 8-0 on the season.

The varsity Rams took a 10-3 win over the Panthers, knocking down 2,478 pins to Cabot's 2,336.

Tyson Keeney paced Lakeside with a 430 series, posting games of 203 and 227. Hunter Rhodes bowled a 359 series with a 182 high, and Cade Tarbet finished with a 209 series (114 high).

Landon Gray led Lakeside's other team with a 416 series, finishing with a 208 high game. Ben Larimore posted Lakeside's highest single game with a 246, finishing with a 386 series, and Jimmy Tejcek bowled a 296 series with 179 high game.

* The Lady Rams fell to 5-3 after dropping their match to Cabot, 13-0. Cabot knocked down 2,423 pins to Lakeside's 1,680.

Melissa Perrigo paced Lakeside with a 273 series with a 167 high game, Destiny Phillips posting a 255 series (143 high game) and Bree Green a 227 series (121 high).

Anna Rose Nagy led Lakeside's second team with a 156 high game with a 272 series. Ari Palmer bowled a 214 series with 111 high game while Chloe Junkerman had a 212 series and 112 high game.

The varsity squads take on Texarkana on Jan. 22 before closing out the season with a tri-match Jan. 24 against Hot Springs and Lake Hamilton. Both matches will be held at Central Bowling Lanes.

Junior Varsity

Both the boys and mixed junior varsity squads from Lakeside fell at Cabot, the boys falling 13-0 and the mixed teams falling 12.5-0.5.

The JV boys knocked down 1,660 pins to Cabot's 1,941 in the match.

Dillann Allen bowled a 244 series with a 128 high game. Tanner Bates posted Lakeside's highest single game with a 134 while posting a 216 series, and Clark Hill rounded out the team with a 219 series and 119 high game.

Dawson Jones paced Lakeside other JV boys team with a 244 series (124 high game). Cameron Elliott matched Jones' high game with a 124, finishing with a 240 series, while Caiden Ingram finished the match with a 226 series and 123 high game.

Cabot's mixed JV squad knocked down 1,683 pins to Lakeside's 1,395.

Abby Shelby led Lakeside with a 227 series and 132 high game. Jordan MacPherson and Andrea Camacho paired up with MacPherson posting an 85 in the first game and Camacho bowling a 102. Kristen Hensen finished out the team with a 194 series and 101 high game.

Danny Labbe and Hayden Ringgold paired up with Labbe knocking down a 98 and Ringgold finishing with a 81 in the second game. Shane Cramer bowled a 238 series with a 126 high game, and Cael Braughton rounded out the team's scoring with a 188 series and 105 high game.

The junior varsity squads conclude their season Jan. 24 against Texarkana at Central Bowling Lanes.
