Lake Hamilton Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Roger Lishbrook, Lt. Zach Miller and Firefighter Jon Albright work to extinguish a fire in a boat on Lake Hamilton on the west side of the Highway 7 causeway shortly after 11:30 a.m. Friday. A man and a woman reportedly dove from the boat and swam safely to shore. No injuries were reported. Lake Hamilton Fire Chief Doug Davey said the department responded to the call around 11 a.m. and extinguished the fire within 30 minutes. The cause of the fire was unknown Friday.
