CAVHS volunteers recognized

Two members of the Baseline-Meridian Chapter, United States Daughters of 1812 were recognized during the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System Volunteer Banquet for their service in helping to make the lives of veterans better. The theme was "Bikers," in honor of Patriot Guard Riders, Combat Vets and Rolling Thunder, veterans' motorcycle groups. Sheila Beatty-Krout, VAVS chairman national, was recognized for more than 700 hours of service and Mary Ellen Laursen, VAVS representative, for nearly 350 hours.
