The Hot Springs Civitan Club provided volunteers for the Memorial Day service held at the Garland County Veterans Memorial and Military Park. Volunteers set up chairs and assisted in locating bricks and pavers for the public. The club has a long standing relationship with the Garland County Veterans Memorial by providing volunteers for the Memorial Day and the Veterans Day ceremonies. The mission of the club is to build good citizenship by providing volunteers dedicated to serving individual and community needs, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
