Outgoing President Gary Troutman, left, presented the Rotarian of the Year to Jim Pate, who has taken care of the club's finances for the past 20 years. Pate brings a complete financial statement to each monthly board meeting, pays all the bills in a timely manner, sends the scholarship monies out each June and presents an annual budget that includes committee monetary requests. "His honesty and integrity have never been in question as he lives the 4-Way Test," states the release. He has served on the Imagination Library of the Ouachitas Board since the club founded the affiliate to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Garland County years ago. "Jim is a great example of service above self and is an asset to the Rotary Club of Hot Springs National Park."
