MAGNOLIA -- Southern Arkansas University recently announced the local students who were awarded scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year:
BISMARCK
Noah Emerson received the University Scholarship, $4,500 per semester. Emerson is the son of Andrea Emerson and is a recent Bismarck High School graduate.
Kenzie Glass received the Presidential Scholarship, $5,500 per semester. Glass is the daughter of Tammy Glass and Russell Glass and is a recent Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts graduate.
Kristie Glass received the Presidential Scholarship, $5,500 per semester. Glass is the daughter of Tammy Glass and Russell Glass and is a recent Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts graduate.
Rebecca Graves received the Presidential Scholarship, $5,500 per semester. Graves is the daughter of Steven Graves and is a recent Bismarck High School graduate.
Joshua Matthews received the Achievement Scholarship, $1,000 per semester. Matthews is the son of Alan and Brittney Matthews and is a recent Ouachita High School graduate.
Johnni Robbins received the Achievement Scholarship, $1,000 per semester. Robbins is the daughter of Michelle Subbert and is a recent Bismarck High School graduate.
Hannah Wilson received the Blue and Gold Scholarship, $3,300 per semester. Wilson is the daughter of Dana Mann and Ryan Wilson and is a recent Bismarck High School graduate.
GLENWOOD
Jessica Wright received the Blue and Gold Scholarship, $3,300 per semester. Wright is the daughter of Dana Wright and is a recent Centerpoint High School graduate.
HOT SPRINGS
Remy Bilodeau received the Blue and Gold Scholarship, $3,300 per semester. Bilodeau is the son of Jaime Jester and Patrick Bilodeau and is a recent Lakeside High School graduate.
Courtney Decker received the University Scholarship, $4,500 per semester. Decker is the daughter of Monica Chipps and Brett Chipps and is a recent Lakeside High School graduate.
Madison Dixon received the Presidential Scholarship, $5,500 per semester. Dixon is the daughter of Stephanie Dixon and is a recent Cutter Morning Star High School graduate.
Michael James received the University Scholarship, $4,500 per semester. James is the son of Anita James and David James and is a recent Lakeside High School graduate.
Mathew Slyter received the Blue and Gold Scholarship, $3,300 per semester. Slyter is the son of Russell Smith and Ruby Smith and is a recent Hot Springs World Class High School graduate.

Jake Carter received the Achievement Scholarship, $1,000 per semester. Carter is the son of Marla and Rob Carter and is a recent Jessieville High School graduate.
