Hot Springs Music Festival schedule

The 23rd season of the Hot Springs Music Festival opened June 3 and will continue through Saturday.

Today's schedule

• 10:30 a.m. -- Shana Norton, Celtic harp, Garland County Library. Premiere performance: "Thumbelina: A Fairy Tale Told in Music & Film."

• 6:30 p.m. -- Preconcert talk, Oaklawn Magnet School Auditorium.

• 7:30 p.m. -- Orchestra concert, Oaklawn Magnet School Auditorium, $20.

Volunteers for the orchestra concert will be from Ouachita Children's Center and 10 percent of the evening's proceeds will be donated to OCC.

All veterans or active members of the military may attend the concert free of charge.

Concert lineup

• Victor Young's overture to "Around the World in 80 Days."

• John Williams' "Harry's Wondrous World" from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."

• John Williams' "Hymn to the Fallen" from "Saving Private Ryan," with the Hot Springs Music Festival Chorus and members of the Village Chorale.

• Nino Rota's waltz and love theme from "The Godfather."

• Leonard Bernstein's "Three Dance Episodes" from "On the Town."

• Leonard Bernstein's "Symphonic Dances" from "West Side Story."
