Hot Springs Concert Band prepares for spring concert

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Hot Springs Concert Band is preparing for its spring concert, which will be presented at 3 p.m. April 29 at Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village.

The annual event, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hot Springs Village, has become a favorite for villagers and the surrounding community, and is expected to sell out, as usual, a news release said.

The Kiwanis Club honors its long association with the concert band. It is a dedicated group of extremely talented musicians who consistently perform outstanding programs in the Village and elsewhere, a news release said. To enhance the event, the Kiwanis Club will again provide a complementary giant hot fudge ice cream sundae to each attendee. The ice cream social will start at 2 p.m. preceding the concert.

Tickets priced at $12 are now on sale and are available from any member of the Concert Band and GHSV Kiwanis Club, at the Woodlands office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and online at http://www.hsvticketsales.com. Any remaining tickets will also be available at the box office prior to the show.
