The Floor Store adds new sales person

The Floor Store has to announced the addition of a new sales person, Jessica Sparks.

Originally from Malvern, when Sparks relocated to Hot Springs, she was employed by Berry Plastics as a trainer. She has two children, Lily, age 12 and Ethan, age 8.

Mt. Ida branch manager

Diamond Bank announced its recent hire of Audrey Spurling, who has joined the Diamond Bank team as branch manager of the Mount Ida location. Within this role, Spurling will deal with the day-to-day branch operations, as well as working on consumer loans, mortgage loans and business loans.

"I loved the feeling of hometown banking I got when talking with everyone around Diamond Bank," Spurling said in the release. "It seems like there isn't enough of that small town, community banking spirit now days and I feel like Diamond Bank still displays all of those qualities."

Spurling comes to Diamond Bank with more than 31 years of banking experience in working in all areas of a bank. She is a graduate of the Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University in Memphis. Most recently, Spurling worked as a loan officer for 13 years at First Bank of Montgomery County, First National Bank and then Bear State Bank.

Spurling was born and raised in Mount Ida by her parents, Shirel and the late Brother Paul Burke. She is a 1984 graduate of Mount Ida High School. She has been married to her husband, David, for 25 years and they have two children, Anthony, 19, and Makenzie, 17. "She enjoys reading and loves to watch football, especially the Mount Ida Lions, Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys."
