Dear editor:
This is a letter to tell you about two special, wonderful nurses in CHI outpatient. Sandra and Jackie. They are great nurses and special friends, they are compassionate, very giving of themselves, going and giving above and beyond their duties.
My husband had a blood disorder for four and one-half years, and we got acquainted with them at the beginning of those four and one-half years. We grew to love them very much. All the nurses in outpatient were very good and helpful, but these two stood out. They were special to my husband and myself, making him comfortable and relaxed, always giving him compliments on his pretty shirt or his wonderful smile -- treating him gently and special. They were very special to me -- helping me get through this blood disorder. When he was in the hospital, they would come after they got off work to check on him and asked if we needed anything, even bringing me fried chicken one day. We love these two special nurses.
Sandra and Jackie, you are our precious angels -- we love you.
