Hot Springs police are searching for a suspect who reportedly robbed Bank of the Ozarks, 1410 Albert Pike, shortly before 3 p.m. Friday.

A white male, wearing a yellow plaid long-sleeved shirt and a ballcap, reportedly demanded money from one teller and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Hot Springs police Cpl. Kirk Zaner and a news release from the police department.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police set up a perimeter around the area of the bank. Cpl Brandon Jones and his K-9, Keena, tried to pick up a track, but the suspect was not located.

"At this time detectives are gathering information and collecting evidence, more information will be released when it is available," a news release said.

"Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information should call detectives," Zaner said. Anyone with information should call 321-6789.
