SPECIAL GUEST: Earl Hesse will be the special guest artist at November's "America's Art Form" concert Wednesday at the Garland County Library.

November's America's Art Form concert, presented by the Hot Springs Jazz Society and the Garland County Library, will feature Earl Hesse on saxophone and clarinet.

The free concert, "Swing's the Thing," will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the library's auditorium.

Hesse, "not only a teacher of jazz but a performer who can improvise and play any book with any band in the land," a news release said, will be joined by Patrick Chan on drums, David Higginbotham on bass and Clyde Pound on keyboard.

"November's program titled 'Swing's The Thing' will continue the exceptional music presented at October's concert to a full house," the release said. America's Art Form is a free monthly concert series presented October through February, with each month focusing on a different style or detail of American born music.

Remaining America's Art Form concerts scheduled the second Wednesday of each month through February will be "A Night At Birdland," "I'm With The Band" and "Ear Trip and Found Sound." Call 501-627-2425 or email [email protected] for more information.
