The 2018 Garland County fair is in the books and according to the Junior Livestock exhibitors, it was "the best week ever."

More than 100 youths from 5 to 18 years old from Garland County school districts displayed their livestock. This was the result of a year of hard work and dedication breeding, birthing, raising and grooming their animals for the fair.

Achieving grand or reserve champion status, plus having an animal selected for the premium sale was a distinct honor. Area businesses and individuals bid for the opportunity to help these youths achieve their goals and prepare for their futures in the agriculture industry.

The champion animals, their young owners and the premium sale buyers are pictured in these photographs.
