Park Avenue Community Association meets Monday

The Park Avenue Community Association's October will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Pullman Methodist Church, 200 Pullman Ave.

A Regions Bank community support representative will be the guest speaker, discussing how area bank programs help to inform and support communities.

Monday agenda also includes an update on October CDBG progress for 2018 and ranking for 2019 CDBG funds, the Slow Roll bike activity on Park Avenue, with fundraiser and auction, Light Uptown, and county and city news. Light snacks and coffee are served.

The public is welcome to meet the neighborhood and join in the discussions.

Village Mac Users Group meets Tuesday

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Village Mac Users Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Room 6 of the Coronado Center.

The topic will be an introduction to using Contacts to address envelops using at least two different programs.

John Froning will review a security camera he uses, a timely topic with so many package deliveries at this time of the year.

There will be something of interest for everyone. Hands-on help will be provided for Apple devices. Visitors are welcome.
