Roanoke MBC to hold Annual Women's Day

Roanoke Missionary Baptist Church will observe its Annual Women's Day Sunday with an 11 a.m. message by Sister Deborah Hale, of St. Paul Baptist in Benton, and a 3 p.m. message by Sister Angie Gatlin, first lady of Evangelistic Baptist in North Little Rock.

Other guest presenters will be the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Norvell of Mount Canaan Baptist in Arkadelphia. Sunday's theme will be "Women United for the Cause of Christ." Everyone is welcome.

Immanuel Christian to celebrate pastors

Immanuel Christian Fellowship Church, 1536 E Grand Ave., will celebrate its pastors, Fred and Georgeann Nicholson, for their 27th year in kingdom ministry with the theme "Like a Tree Planted by the Water."

The event will be 3 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Joel Motes and the congregation and music ministry of Calvary Pentecostal Church as special guests. Everyone is welcome.

Union MBC to celebrate 134th church anniversary

Union Missionary Baptist Church, 219 Gulpha St., will be celebrating its 134th church anniversary at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. Special guest for the morning service will be Rose Dixon, first lady of the Roland Piggee Memorial Baptist Church in Lockesburg with Pastor Richard Dixon conducting the afternoon service.

The theme is "Laborers Together ... Building on the Word of God." The church has been studying the 12 Tribes of Israel and will culminate this study by wearing tribal colors at both services. Music will be provided by the Roland Piggee Memorial Baptist Church Choir and the UMBC Music Ministry. The public is welcome.

Greater Ebenezer MBC holds annual Choir Day

Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Lacey St., will hold its annual Choir Day at 3 p.m. Sunday with special guests, New Beginning Church Ministries, 323 Grand Ave., with the Rev. Michael Smith and First Lady Sarah Smith.

The public is welcome.
