Arvest Foundation to present donation to film institute

Arvest Bank will present a donation to the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute from the Arvest Foundation on Monday.

The presentation will be made during an open house and meet-and-greet for existing and prospective customers at 11 a.m. at Arvest Bank, 135 Section Line Road.

According to Jennali Cybulski, vice president and marketing manager for Arvest Bank in northeast, central and southwest Arkansas, Arvest works to identify opportunities to support its communities locally.

"The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival has been a staple in this city for 27 years, helping to raise regional and national awareness of our city, foster a strong community and benefit many local merchants," she said. "For those reasons, the Arvest Foundation will make a donation to this nonprofit organization at an upcoming open house event."

Cybulski said the film festival "supports the Hot Springs economy and culture, strengthens our community and creates opportunities for growth in Hot Springs," which are all similar to the mission of the Arvest Foundation which exists to support its communities.

The amount of this donation will be announced the day of the event, she said.

Representatives from the bank will also provide lunch from Bubba's Catfish for attendees, according to a news release.
