Dear editor:
Please vote "Yes" to support the Mid-America Science Museum expansion. Passage merely enables a bond to be issued for the project. No new taxes will be raised or collected. This is simply a pledging of funds already being collected by current taxes.
This expansion will bring Smithsonian traveling exhibits, among numerous other benefits. Our families' children and grandchildren have loved their explorations of our great museum. Now families, young and not-so-young, can experience a truly updated, nationally recognized entertainment, education complex. Build it and they will come. It's a proven fact.
The cost is $0. The rewards are great for us all. Please vote "Yes" on Sept. 4-11. It's our future -- Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead.
