Dear editor:

I'm writing in response to Mary Robinson's letter dated Sept. 1, entitled "The imperfect image."

I find most patriots are believers in nature's God. Mary, keep up the good works. "Stand in the gap." Yes, abuse will come your way. Remember, we live in a fallen world. As I read your letter, I'm reminded of John 15:18 when Jesus stated, "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you."

Remember Isaiah 51:7-8, "Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, you people in whose heart is My law. Do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their insults. For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool. But My righteousness will be forever and My salvation from generation to generation."

Go with God, my dear child of our Lord. I will see you in His kingdom.
