The Muses Project will present "Opera Classics Plus! Sing to Love" at 6 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Muses Cultural Arts Center, 428 Orange St. A special student show will be presented at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The concert will showcase the musical excellence of skilled nationally touring professional vocalists and instrumentalists, along with a talented chorus of resident professional and student singers.

As a special feature, professional dancer Lelia Rosenkrans will add a magical dance element to several musical selections. Majoring in dance and minoring in chemistry, Rosenkrans, who was named the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's 2018 outstanding graduate, is the brilliant embodiment of the alliance between artistry and science, a news release said.

"Opera Classics Plus!" consists of beloved arias, duets, and ensemble pieces from some of the world's greatest operas including "Carmen," "La Traviata," "Madame Butterfly," "Magic Flute" and "Fledermaus," plus dynamic and popular musical theater selections from "West Side Story," "Les Miserables," "Sweeney Todd," "Secret Garden" and more.

All artists, students, and teachers will be admitted free of charge for the Wednesday student show but must register by calling 501-609-9811. The performance is sponsored by the Windgate Foundation.
