NPPC photo club meets Tuesday

The National Park Photography Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Garland County Library on Malvern Avenue to do a group critique; all current members can make submissions in advance. This will be a "safe" activity in that feedback will be focused on offering positive comments on improvements that could be made to submitted photos. This is not an activity designed to let folks show off their award-winning images. Participants should look through their catalogue and find something they think has potential, but needs work to be successful in competition or for being ready to hang on the wall. Be prepared to listen to suggestions with an open mind.

The club judging in September will be submitted for the Gulf States Camera Club Counsel November contest, which is pictorial prints, color and black and white; and nature, projected images and prints. Members may make up to four submissions in each category.

NPPC welcomes new members who are interested in expanding their photography skills in a collegial and supportive environment. A one-year membership is $20.
