Garland County Extension Homemakers Council recently recognized clubs with Gold Star awards. The Gold Star Award system is the way clubs evaluate themselves to see how well they are meeting the goals of the council. Clubs are awarded certificates and a monetary reward. Receiving one gold star was Busy Bees; two, Mis Amigas and Park Heights; and three, All Things Home, Crazy Quilters, Fiber Therapy, Lakeside and Loyal Ladies.
