Arkansas State Police troopers and Garland County sheriff's deputies search a Nissan Versa after it was allegedly stolen and wrecked in the 700 block of Akers Road Tuesday morning. Sheriff's Sgt. John Schroeder said deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1000 block of Akers shortly after 11:30 a.m. where a known suspect, identified as Braylon J. Hutchison, 20, had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and then fled in her car. Hutchison was located in the Leatherwood Loop subdivision after a brief search and charged with felony counts of second-degree domestic battery and theft of property more than $5,000 as well as numerous traffic citations.
