Lacy Raye Parker, 34, who lists a Buena Vista Drive address, and Cathern J. Wilhite, 31, who lists a Madison Street address, were taken into custody at a residence in the 300 block of Warwick Road around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and each charged with felony counts of possession of meth with purpose to deliver, punishable by up to 20 years in prison, and 14 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, each punishable by up to six years, and possession of diazepam.

They both remained in custody Wednesday in lieu of $41,000 bonds and are set to appear Oct. 8 in Garland County District Court.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Agent John Weaver with Arkansas Community Correction was conducting a home visit on the residence of an offender on parole when he reportedly made contact with Parker and Wilhite inside the residence. On a table next to the front door, Weaver reportedly observed small plastic bags containing suspected meth and syringes loaded with a brown liquid substance.

He instructed both women to sit on the front porch and contacted the Garland County Sheriff's Department to document the presence of suspected drug use.

At one point, Parker allegedly pleaded with Weaver to not take her to jail and offered to show him "where everything was." She then reportedly went to the bathroom where she removed an air vent to reveal two additional bags of suspected meth, four pipes, nine diazepam pills, and eight additional syringes.

Both women were transported to the detention center and charged with felony drug-related charges.
