Monday's Letters to the Editor

Clinton 'poor choice'

Dear editor:

Hard to imagine a more cringeworthy graduation commencement speaker than HRC. What is ASMSA thinking, that she is a role model? At a minimum, 10 scandals attached to her political career. She supports 3-T abortion. She is easily the most corrupt person to ever run for political office. She lied to Congress under oath and allowed foreign entities to pay for her influence as secretary of state. It's the school's choice to make, I'm just going to say that in my opinion, it's a very poor choice.

Rethink comment

Dear editor:

To Mr. Little's "Yes, Let's pray for Trump" 3-30-19.

If I were Mr. Little, I would take back that "No, that's God, he just wants to be Donald Trump" part. You're worried about demeaning John McCain? Or any man?

God bless America. God bless President Trump.

Go back to bikes

Dear editor:

My name is Iva Nettles. I am a third-grade student at Langston Elementary School. My concern is that we are cutting down too many trees. Trees give us air so we can breathe. So can we stop cutting down so many trees? Let's start planting more trees instead.

We also need to stop littering and do away with cars and just go back to riding bikes. This would be good for the environment and people's health.

Weed in the workforce

Dear editor:

Re: Page 6B, Sun March 31, 2019, article "Weed in the workforce,"

by Harry Porter.

Although this was a totally true article, it's more than one may understand. Could you repost the article, increase the lettering size 4x and place it on the front page, vs. being hidden on Page 5B?

Also, maybe suggest drug testing in our schools grades 6-12.
