Rhoden to address retired teachers
Clint Rhoden, executive director of the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Garland County Retired Teachers Association at 10 a.m. Friday at the Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Ave.
His presentation will include topics relevant to teachers' retirement, ATRS member issues, legislation, actuarial analysis, investments and more.
"As executive director of ATRS, I will continue to focus on providing exemplary member services for all ATRS members, continue and expand member outreach, and maintain day-to-day business as usual with the help of an outstanding staff," Rhoden said in a release.
All retired public school employees, whether a GCRTA member or not, are invited to attend the meeting.
