Hot Springs police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday at a residence at 303 Second St. involving two family members, but no charges had been filed as of Monday.
Officers responded to the residence shortly before 11:30 p.m. to a report of shots fired and arrived to find a male victim, 59, who had been shot in the hip, Cpl. Joey Williams, the department's public relations officer, said Monday.
The victim, whose injuries were non life-threatening, was transported to a local hospital. The alleged shooter was identified as a relative and Williams noted the incident was still under investigation on Monday.
