Valentine's baskets benefit sale planned
Valentine's baskets created by the Ladies of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Pearcy will be available for sale this week with all proceeds going to help foreign missionaries around the world.
The baskets will be sold Monday through Thursday at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, 3217 Airport Road; Derksen Portable Buildings, 3697 Malvern Ave.; and Cajun Boilers, 2806 Albert Pike Road.
Baskets for all ages will be available.
St. Mary's hosts Party Hearty dinner
St. Mary's will host the third annual Party Hearty Valentine's Dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday in its new Parish Hall. The public is welcome. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased after Mass this weekend or by stopping by the church office.
"Our families are the formative cells of society, making their strength our best assurance for a strong nation and a just society." The dinner is a way to "honor this God-given institution," a news release said.
