Spring football game slated for ESPNU broadcast

FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas' annual Red-White spring football game has been scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff on April 6 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The game will air live on ESPNU and will also be streamed on ESPN.com and the ESPN app. It marks the fourth straight year ESPN has elected to carry the Razorbacks' scrimmage as part of the network's spring football coverage.

Admission to the game is free and open to the public.

Last year's spring game was held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock during renovations to Razorback Stadium as part of a new agreement to alternate home games against Missouri and spring games. The Razorbacks will meet the Tigers in November at War Memorial Stadium, which will also host the 2020 spring game, but no Little Rock game is currently scheduled for the 2020 season.

The 2019 campaign will mark the second season for head coach Chad Morris in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks were 0-8 in the Southeastern Conference in 2018 and 2-10 overall. It was the first 10-loss season in program history.

Check-in and registration is scheduled for 4:30-5:30 p.m. Tryout participants must complete their own forms and must have prior football experience in high school or college.
