UDC members attend luncheon

Hot Springs Chapter No. 80 United Daughters of the Confederacy members attended District IV's annual Lee-Jackson-Maury Luncheon in Texarkana on Jan. 19.

The luncheon was a birthday celebration of three military greats whose birthdays are all in January. UDC members from Hot Springs, Mena, Hope, Magnolia and Texarkana, as well as representatives from four SCV camps, attended.

The chapter's next meeting is Saturday.

VFW to hold monthly meeting Saturday

VFW Post 2278 of Hot Springs will hold its monthly meeting for members and the Auxiliary this at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rumors Bar and Grill, located in Boardwalk Village on Central Avenue.
