Earth Angel

The city of Hot Springs offers free electronic waste (e-waste) recycling. This includes desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, copiers, hard drives, tablets, televisions, cellphones, digital cameras, cords, keyboards and ink cartridges. Recycling electronics prevents valuable material from going into the waste stream. It also reduces energy and pollution that would be created by manufacturing new products and lessens the need to extract limited resources.

There are many options for recycling e-waste. Cellphones, laptops or other devices that are still in working condition can get a second life by being donated to a school or nonprofit organization. Bring e-waste to the recycling center at 218 Runyon St. from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. There is no charge for dropping off electronics for recycling.
