Church announces

change to Sunday schedule

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2765 Malvern Ave., announces changes to its weekly Sunday schedule.

Due to the church's change to two-hour block meetings, Sacrament now starts at 10 a.m. with Sunday school at 11:10 a.m. on the first and third Sundays and Priesthood quorums, Relief Society and Young Women on the second and fourth. When there is a fifth Sunday, the groups will have a joint meeting. Primary will meet every week.

Author, seashell mystic to speak

Speaker Zabe Barnes, a seashell mystic, shaman, healing-alchemy teacher and author whose healing and self-healing methods are practiced and taught in 29 countries and counting, will speak on "Let the Good Times Roll" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Hot Springs Center for Spiritual Oneness, 300 Oaklawn St.

An Intention Circle will follow the service. Call 501-545-1024 for more information.

"It's Twelfth Night, Epiphany, and the first official day of the Carnival Season. Together we will discover new things to celebrate in this New Year as we excavate surprise treasures within. We will explore new possibilities and new perspectives for 2019 as we call our higher selves down to earth to help us revel in unexpected new possibilities," a news release said.
