HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The HSV Evening Lions Club recently held its annual Christmas meeting at Diamante County Club.

The evening was made even more memorable by having Sharon Giovinazzo, CEO of World Services for the Blind, as a guest. Giovinazzo shared her appreciation for the financial support HSV Evening Lions provides in helping WSB meet its clients' needs.

"The problems of diabetes, lost and diminished vision, hearing, hunger, environment, and pediatric cancer are all global issues that Lions strive to solve. One Little Rock organization that the Evening Lions support is World Services for the Blind. WSB helps people who are blind and visually impaired learn independent living skills including youth programs that teach College Prep, ACT Prep and the Essential Workplace Skills to achieve future employment," a news release said.

A local vocal group, Treble in the Village Quartet, provided a lively and entertaining evening of songs and comedy during the meeting.
