The local drug task force arrested a Mountain Pine woman Wednesday on multiple felony charges stemming from allegations she sold meth twice last year to a confidential informant.

Sabetha Dawn Holt, 36, who lists an Eighth Street address, was arrested by agents with the 18th Judicial District East Drug Task Force and charged with two counts of delivery of meth, two counts of unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate a crime and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, each punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Holt remained in custody Friday in lieu of $20,000 bond and the charges against her were filed directly to Garland County Circuit Court, where she is scheduled to appear for plea and arraignment on Feb. 6.

According to the probable cause affidavit, between the dates of Aug. 1 and Aug. 10, 2018, DTF agents and Arkansas State Police used a confidential source to make a controlled purchase of what later tested positive for meth from Holt in Garland County.

The weight of the meth allegedly obtained from Holt was over 2 grams, but less than 10 grams, making it a B felony.

Holt was operating a blue 2007 Honda Accord at the time the purchase was made which a computer check revealed belonged to a Garland County couple and not Holt.

Between Aug. 11 and Aug. 31, 2018, DTF agents and Arkansas State Police made a second purchase of what later tested positive for meth from Holt that was also more than 2 grams, but less than 10 grams.

Holt was in a gray 2005 Chevrolet passenger car and a computer check revealed it belonged to a Garland County woman, different from the Accord, but not Holt.

During surveillance of both purchases, agents were reportedly able to positively identify Holt using photographs from the Arkansas Crime Information Center from previous arrests.

A warrant for Holt's arrest on the multiple charges was issued Jan. 3 and executed Wednesday afternoon. She was booked into the Garland County Detention Center at approximately 6:19 p.m. Wednesday.
