P.E.O. Chapter CY of Hot Springs Village sponsored and presented a Program for Continuing Education Grant to Lillian Alderman, second from left, in the amount of $1,400. Alderman will graduate with a master's degree in school counseling from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December 2019. The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education was created to provide need-based grants to women in the U.S. and Canada whose educations have been interrupted and who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and their families. Alderman was presented the grant by Glenda Reed, left, committee chairman, Jeannie Nelson and Bettie Ann Harwood, committee members.
