The Wall Mall

Dear editor:

Complaining is easy. Offering solutions takes thought.

I am convinced that the Mexicans should build the wall. The wall should be along the entire border of the United States and Mexico. It will consist of shops, restaurants, places for dancing and formal occasions, motel and hotel suites, conference centers, clothing boutiques and all kinds of stores, manufacturing and industrial centers, health centers (including hospitals), universities (that include language training), viewing stations toward the United States to view the restored Rio Grande and its bird sanctuaries, casinos to fund the restoration of the Rio Grande and to fund border security, pharmacies where Americans can obtain prescription medications at far lower costs, beauty and barber shops, etc., so that it will be like a giant land cruise.

It will be the world's longest mall: the Wall Mall. From the American side will be seen the colors of the various Mexican towns and villages painted along with beautiful art, and with American flags painted between. Every so many miles will be entrances into the mall: checkpoints and inspection stations. Each village and town nearby will make collectibles so that those who come to this mall can eventually collect the entire set from every Mexican and American village and town near to the mall. Examples of manufacturing include extension ladder makers, instruction in pole vaulting, and tunnel-digging equipment. Workers will include Mexicans, Hondurans, Guatemalans, etc., so that it will be international: the World-Wide Wall, WWW, a real inter-net.

Tourists from all over the world will desire to come to this wall, and investors from all over the world will desire to invest. It will have a two-way internal tram system so that visitors can leave their vehicles and travel the mall as they desire. Special passes with great discounts on mall facilities will be offered for sale. Some restaurants will be high up and revolving; others will reflect nature but without the heat of summer. From the sales will come funding for mall police with a communications network that covers the entire length of the mall.

The mall will have its own radio station that will advertise specials, giving the locations. Purchases can be "shipped" by the mall's delivery system back to where the tourist's car is located, to be picked up when the tourist is ready to "check out."

Such a solution, with beautiful architectural sections that also maintain the integrity of the border and that fund natural habitats, is so much better than attempts to explain either the need for a wall or why a wall won't work.

Wise leaders always look for far superior ways to solve issues and to bring employment, while bringing peace to the various populations. Excellent schools that educate using several cultures and educational means will become part of this mall. This mall will include major truck fueling stations, showers, etc., and the prices will be excellent, since this wall will be very wisely and efficiently run, and ruinous corruption is excluded.

The atheist and the bear

Dear editor:

An atheist was enjoying the beauty of the forest when he heard a rustling sound behind him. As he turned to look, he saw a bear coming toward him. He began to run, then fell. The bear landed on top of him with one paw raised to strike. The atheist yelled "Oh my God!" A bright light shone and a voice said: "You have denied me all these years -- now you want me to help?" The atheist said, "Yes, I would be a hypocrite to ask for your help, but could you at least make the bear a Christian?" After a short pause, the voice said: "Very well." The light went out, the bear lowered its raised paw, brought both paws together, bowed its head and said, "Lord bless this food for which I am about to receive. Amen."

Isn't this more believable than Mr. Wiedmann's idea that "through evolution, eyes and sight came into being" and in reference to the written word of God, "Today, we need a new 'myth' which is more in line with what we now know"?

The sand and stars Mr. Wiedmann spoke of would not be here except for our creator of all that was ever created. The god who has far more knowledge than all of us combined. That is the problem some people have trouble accepting. Ego.

Nancy, Chuck and all their rich liberal partners are shedding more tears over someone being late getting a paycheck than over a policeman getting shot dead! Someone should tell Nancy and Chuck that we have a commander in chief and it's neither of them.

Tell the family of the young cop just killed that it's a "manufactured crisis." Tell the hundreds of women in the caravan who were raped that it's a "manufactured crisis."

I wish the video of Barack Hussein Obama, screeching like someone was stomping on his ingrown toenail "they're a thousand miles away" (the caravan) would be shown to every person in the country -- a clown show.

I guess Dems just can't help it. When you're spoiled, and your nanny keeps covering up for you, what can we expect?

I wish Donald had told Nancy "If you give me the money for the wall, I'll think about opening the government in the next 30 days." I can see her now, can't you? Talk about nervous mouth movements.

Everyone will get their pay. Families won't get their murdered loved ones back. All because lying Democrats hate Donald Trump.

Medicare for all? Including illegals? How much will my $135 premium go up? How much do you think Medicare pays out every 24 hours already? None of us would get decent medical care! Count on it!

Sean Spicer just said, (the opposite of what Dems think) one murder is too many! Amen! Thank you, Sean. Yeah, Larry! ("They're both done" 1-19-19). God bless America and God bless President Trump.
