It’s only fitting that Craig Morgan performs the Fourth of July concert to cap off Military Appreciation Day at 8 p.m. Saturday at Timberwood Theater in Magic Springs & Crystal Falls. The area Hippie Holler Band, known for its fundraising efforts locally, will open the show at 7 p.m.

Morgan spent 10 years serving his country in the U.S. Army on active duty in the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, and he now travels overseas to perform USO shows every chance he gets, according to his biography.
