Eradicating garden pests and water-wise gardening will be the focus of Thursday’s Gardening 101 workshop at Garvan Woodland Gardens.

The featured presenter in the morning session is Garland County Cooperative Extension Specialist Melvin Daniels, who will discuss Integrate Pest Management, a strategic plan that takes advantage of the weaknesses of certain garden pests. The class is scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-noon in the Magnolia Room at the Pratt Welcome Center.
