Local musicians headline blues event

Brethren to perform at Back Alley Blues Bash

The 82-year-old Delta blues legend Cedell Davis, of Hot Springs, will be surrounded by Brethren, a locked-and-loaded four-piece band from Hot Springs on Halloween and they are set to headline the annual Back Alley Blues Bash at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Opera House in West Plains, Mo. Tickets are $10.

Brethren has logged numerous road miles weaving a modern rock sound into a traditional blues framework.
