Emergency personnel cut apart trees that fell on power lines Tuesday at Rockport in Hot Spring County after a storm moved through the area shortly before 5 p.m. The power was out “all over the county,” said Kendall Marshall, assistant chief of Rockport Mount Willow Fire Department. No injuries were reported and the damage appeared to be from sporadic straight-line winds, according to Chief Damon Dyer.
