On the eve of a $125 million expansion project, Kroger announced a recall of store-brand beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli.

In a late Monday release, Joe Bell, marketing director for Kroger Delta Marketing Area, the public relations arm of the grocery superstore, said stores in Arkansas, west Tennessee, Mississippi, southern Missouri and southwest Kentucky are included in the recall.
